The clip is large and has a lot of grip, which helps it stay in place. My favorite part about this light is that the clip is large enough to accommodate both the Kindle and the Kindle cover at the same time. Most other lights I have seen don't accommodate the Kindle covers very well. The light can even be clipped onto the Kindle and cover when it is in the closed position, which is great for traveling with the Kindle and the light.
The color matches the Kindle perfectly and it puts out a bright, even light. The flex neck makes it possible to place the light high over the Kindle, which illuminates the entire screen without glare. The reading light uses two CR2035 batteries. I get several books worth of reading out of one set of batteries. You can find the batteries in most stores, near the hearing aid batteries or electronics. The batteries can be expensive, so shop around (I can usually find them for less than 25 cents apiece). It would be great if the light used cheap AAA batteries that are easy to find everywhere, but then again, the light would not be nearly as light or compact.
Overall, a great little reading light and a must have accessory for the Kindle (along with a cover).

Hard to beat this bright little light. Clips securely to the Kindle and produces no glare if you angle it correctly.

Got this for my husband's Kindle, he uses it all the time and really likes it.
His vision is poor, and so prefers it to be a little brighter for reading in the dark, but otherwise, this is a great product for the price. Comes with an extra set of batteries too (watch type batteries). Too new to comment on durability. Very flexible, and can be used as a regular book light. I've bought many book lights, and so far I like this one most.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife to go with a Kindle.
The 2nd night it wouldn't turn off, and when it did, it never turned on again.
I'm highly suspect of the quality of the switch, and wouldn't purchase again.
