Great (when it worked) February 25, 2010 A. Richmond 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I just received this light less than a week ago...I really liked it (when it worked)! The first couple times I used it, I liked the light and it does clip nicely to the side of my Kindle. However, within a few uses, the light wouldn't come on when I pressed the button, and now as of last night, the light won't come on at all! I switched out the batteries with the replacements that came with it, but no luck. Today, I've left a message with the customer service dept, having found a 1-877 number on the box the light came in. We'll see if anything comes of it.
clip on reading light February 25, 2010 cappie (SIOUX CITY, IOWA, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I do love this light but if it is positioned too close or directly above the kindle, it does glare some, so it needs to be positioned to prevent the glare. but once you have it positioned it gives plenty of light the reading surface no matter which size print you select.
and it is great that you get a battery inside the light plus 2 extra batteries with it so you don't have to go out and buy a battery for it.

I bought this light for my wife's Kindle, and she loves it. The batteries have lasted over 45 hours now, and still going. she has yet to use the spare batteries included in the box. She loves the anti-glare feature, soft light affect, and solid way it attaches to the Kindle cover.

Great Little Reading Light and Must-Have Accessory February 23, 2010 T. L. Richards (Las Vegas, Nevada) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2BPGB9ZLVSGNH I use this reading light with my Kindle (Global Wireless) w/ leather Kindle cover. The clip is large and has a lot of grip, which helps it stay in place. My favorite part about this light is that the clip is large enough to accommodate both the Kindle and the Kindle cover at the same time. Most other lights I have seen don't accommodate the Kindle covers very well. The light can even be clipped onto the Kindle and cover when it is in the closed position, which is great for traveling with the Kindle and the light.
The color matches the Kindle perfectly and it puts out a bright, even light. The flex neck makes it possible to place the light high over the Kindle, which illuminates the entire screen without glare. The reading light uses two CR2035 batteries. I get several books worth of reading out of one set of batteries. You can find the batteries in most stores, near the hearing aid batteries or electronics. The batteries can be expensive, so shop around (I can usually find them for less than 25 cents apiece). It would be great if the light used cheap AAA batteries that are easy to find everywhere, but then again, the light would not be nearly as light or compact.
Overall, a great little reading light and a must have accessory for the Kindle (along with a cover).
