I love this light. It's so easy to use and I can read when my husband is sleeping. It's so small and light it's very easy to cary along.

I hate product reviews because I feel they are often nothing more than giving natural-born complainers a forum for their unpleasantness. That said, you asked for my feedback on this booklight, so I feel compelled to answer. This light really didn't work. Both sets of batteries that came with the light burned out in the first 2 days -- leaving me with an non-functional light and the requirement to now search the world for odd sized batteries.

I received both my Kindle and this light for Christmas. It worked fine up until last week when it started to go dim. Last night, it stopped working all together. So, I replaced the batteries. Nothing. This light is broken, and it won't work anymore. What a waste of #20.00. Buy a Mighty Brite light...those last forever and the batteries are less expensive.

I have a kindle 2 and this light. I originally got this light for my kids to read with but when i misplace my other light I have to use this one. This is a good light for my kids to read their paper back books with and they even use it to play under the sheets in their bed and in tents they make thru out the house. Its a great light for their imagination. But when it comes to my kindle Id rather use my mighty bright light. Althought im not happy with that one either. This light does not stay clipped on the kindle as well as it should. The grip is weak. Also when it comes time to replace the batteries i had to go out and buy 2 of those flat extremely expensive batteries for this thing. I could have bought a new light for what those batteries cost. Next time I will. It might work better if you are using this with a kindle cover. When its just clipped on my kindle i have to position it so it doesnt block my screen. the brightness is ok. My quest for a decent kindle light is still on.............. why can't they just backlight the kindle ????

This light has served so many purposes in our home. Of course it is great for reading - it clips on so perfectly to the back of the book for use of turning pages and it is lightweight so no added weight while holding your book!! I also use it for a nightlight when we need to get out of bed and as a nightlight for our newborn son when we go out of town. It clips perfectly on his bassinet. We also use one in the house over his changing table-it clips on the blinds for those all night feeding changing. The amount of light is perfect so you can see but neither you or the baby fully wakes up.
