I bought two of these elegant little lights; one for my kindle and one for my wife's. Everything about them was excellent except for one major problem. One of them broke after a month of normal usage: it was not dropped or mishandled in any way, it simply fell apart one night while being turned on. The head came apart, and the tiny wires inside broke rendering it useless. Amazon.com does not offer any warranty and you cannot return it after 4 weeks. My experience may not be typical but buyer beware, based on what happened to me, you have a 50/50 chance of ending up with a very pretty piece of junk.

Either I have a faulty reading light or this is a problem. I turn on the light and after the first couple minutes it dims to a point that I have a difficulty reading the bottom four or five lines on my Kindle without moving it up and down.

Really like this light. It's very easy to adjust, lightweight, portable & bright. The only problem I have is that sometimes it produces a bit of a glare on the Kindle. I've found that by directing the light slightly off the surface, there is no glare. It is so light that I'm just not sure how durable it can be, but it went to Israel with me & was in & out of my bag many times & seems to be fine.

At night, when I want to turn off the main reading light, I slip the little light clip-on to my Kindle. I am able to read easily and find it gives just enough light but doesn't disturb anyone by its brightness. Handy little gadget at that.

The lamp is nice & light so now the wife reads even more in bed....Thanx Kindle ....lol
