Nicely made, does the trick, good value February 6, 2010 David A. Thomas I like to hold my Kindle "naked" while using it so a sleeve was the way to go. This was a Christmas gift so I've used it a month or so. It is well-made, has a soft inner liner and the Kindle fits snuggly inside but is easy to remove and put in. Total coincidence but the colour scheme matches my Crumpler bag perfectly. If you are looking for a Kindle sleeve, this is a good candidate.

If I had known that it was camo I wouldn't have ordered it. No where in the description at the time did it way that. I thought it was pink swirley stuff. You need a better picture. But no problem as all it does is sit on my end table and hold my Kindle.
Timbuk2 Nylon Kindle Sleeve February 6, 2010 Grandma Shirley (Georgia) I have had my Kindle over a year and had bought the leather cover but felt that it added weight that I didn't want, so decided to pass it on to my husband(who received a Kindle for Hanukkah). I ordered the nylon sleeve a month ago and I love it!! Is feels much lighter and I like reading without a cover. I bought the Kindle originally because I have arthritis in my thumbs and was finding it harder and harder to hold books, but now I am hooked on it! I think this sleeve will last forever because it is nylon and I am sure I will enjoy it for years.
Great Sleeve! February 5, 2010 Bennett Looks great. Fits the regular Kindle perfectly. Just enough padding to provide adequate protection yet remain very slim.
Great Protective Case! February 3, 2010 Layne Marie (Delray Beach, FL USA) I bought this case in black about 5 weeks ago for the Kindle I received for Christmas, and so far I haven't been disappointed. I wanted a case--not a cover--since I prefer to hold my "naked" Kindle while reading. If your Kindle lives in a jacket, this case is NOT for you.
Now, for those of us who like our Kindles naked, this case provides outstanding protection without being too bulky. The interior is a very soft, almost felt-like material, and the exterior is a sturdy ballistic nylon. Still, when I first got it, I was a little concerned with how thin the high-density foam actually is. Then one day, to my absolute horror, I dropped my beloved Kindle in this case on my tile floor. I was SO relieved to find it was totally fine, not a scratch on it.
Cosmetically, even though the nylon gives the case a somewhat masculine look, I like (not love) it. You may want to note the black case doesn't look exactly like the photos shown here. The swirl on the flap is grey instead of blue, and the edging is black instead of grey. I prefer it this way so it was a happy surprise for me.
All in all, this case does what it's supposed to and I'd definitely recommend it to any Kindle owner who doesn't want a jacket cover.
