review July 20, 2010 poncho Fit's really well and has very good grip. No sleepery at all.
Could do with a little more room in the plugs section on the bottom

Keep a Grip on your Kindle July 13, 2010 Jess (Canton, NC) I bought the silicone case on the same day as my Kindle and put it on my Kindle as soon as the two arrived. After several weeks of use, I've yet to take it off.
This case isn't meant for so much for protection as for prevention, I think - it's not designed to protect your Kindle from a fall, but for day-to-day use this case is definitely recommended because with it a fall for your Kindle is 10 times less likely.
My family had two of the original Kindles before I got my Kindle2. As buyers may have noticed, the original Kindle had a rubber backing to help with grip, while the Kindle2 has a smooth metal backing. Prettier, perhaps, but not as easy to keep a hold on. Even with the backing and careful precautions, my dad dropped his original Kindle and cracked one of its corners (Don't worry, it still works. Let's hear it for durability). Every time he holds my silicone-coated marvel, he comments that the case is really nice and wishes he could get one for his own Kindle. With the case on, my Kindle feels really secure in my hands even when I'm jogging up stairs with it and it naturally grips the surfaces I leave it on; if someone bumps into the table my Kindle is sitting on, it's no problem because my Kindle isn't skidding anywhere.
The case itself fits the Kindle snuggly and wraps around the front and back. The screen, keyboard, and toggle on the front are left open, and so are the speakers on back. It's true the screen is left unprotected this way, but this doesn't bother me personally since I rely on my Kindle storage case (a Belkin Kindle Sleeve in my case) for that kind of protection. For less than [...], this case is definitely worth it for day-to-day handling.
On a side note, the only small drawback is that the silicone tends to cling to whatever loose strands of hair it comes in contact with. Eyelashes especially keep popping up. It's very hard to try and pinch these strands off, but if you just roll them off to a corner they can be easily removed.
Kindle 2 Silicon Gel Case Cover July 12, 2010 Customer 411 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The item is somewhat functional and protects about 60% of the Kindle, with the most important parts i.e. the face and most buttons however left unprotected. Also, I got the product in the white colour, which is easily stained.
Just about perfect! July 12, 2010 William S. Grigsby (Chillicothe, OH USA) I'm sure that there's something about this product to snivel about, but I just can't find it. It fits like a glove, is very well designed (for example the use of a thinner latex over the Next & Prev buttons, rather than a cut out), provides a very nice feel, improves the grip, and looks cool (IMHO).
I paid about 3 bucks for mine, but I'd pay $10 after having seen and used one.
Nice product.
great cheap way to protect the Kindle July 12, 2010 Burt M. Kahn This is a cheap but easy way to protect the Kindle without the bulky cases that are out there - this plus a screen proector is all you need. it's a steal for 1.99
