I bought the car charger because I use my kindle when we go on long trips. Mostly to visit family that is five hours away. I didn't want to run out of battery power in the middle of a good part in my books. I got my Kindle in May for my birthday and I must have read at least books by now. I love the car charger because I know I can always keep reading.

I purchased this two months before I could use it and found that it did NOT work in my vehicle to charge. For the cost - I guess I got what I paid for. Money down the drain. I've notified the supplier and we'll see what they come back with.
Poor Quality May 10, 2010

This product was very poorly made it fell apart within 5 days. It never did charge the Kindle and the plug that goes to the Kindle came apart the second time I used it. Don't know if other companies make this charger- if so- get theirs. This is a case where you get what you pay for.

This product costs almost nothing, but it is absolutely no good. You cannot even plug in your Kindle. If you force it in, you will damage your Kindle.
