I just received and applied my skin today. It looks absolutely gorgeous on was the perfect touch to my kindle. The coloring was just as I expected and I just love it. i wish it covered the sides, but I can live without that. Seems tough enough to protect against minor scratches, but mostly just decorative. I'm using it in my hardback amazon Kindle case for a little added flair.

I only received a gelaskin for the back cover of my kindle. The one for the front did not come with the order.

I love the artwork of this skin and the back piece was very easy to apply. Not so with the front. I found it VERY difficult to apply the main piece so that it was straight, and I found that repositioning it stretched the material somewhat so that it bunches up a little. I also thought that the small pieces for the buttons don't meet up with the edges of the larger piece, leaving very visible seams. It wasn't quite what I'd hoped for, but I do find that my Kindle doesn't feel so cold with the skin on and it feels a little softer as well. In any case, I would call this a middle-of-the-road product.
