Good jobs guys. Very good product but I was not able to download a book in Singapore while I was there. Amazon should stop false advertisement saying it's global and whatever. It is not global. If I cannot download a book in an advance country like Singapore then it's not global. PERIOD.

I was disappointed in the looks of the cover. It has a big wrinkle in the front cover. It works well, but the appearance is poor quality.

Love the Kindle. Love the idea of the leather cover.
However the spine connection to the Kindle is very fragile and WILL crack your Kindle over time.
If the metal tab that connects the Kindle to the cover is bent in any way it will distress the Kindle plastic.
Bending this tab is as easy as opening the Kindle from the wrong side.
Overall you will need a Kindle cover. This cover is well built with exception to the connecting properties to the Kindle itself.
We now use a small strip of tape around the outer corners to hold the Kindle to the back part of the cover which prevents accidental opening of the cover from the rear.
(NOTE TO AMAZON: Adding a heavy duty elastic strap to at least one corner of the cover that will slip over a corner of your Kindle will solve a great many returns.)
Solid, stylish cover for DX July 11, 2010

Received the DX cover the day before the DX. Good thing too - the strong leather smell or it's treatments anyhow are very pungent at first. Give it a good breathe before using - or not. Doubt it will make the DX smell of leather. I did find the back cover with a smudge on it. Could have been a pressure mark or a defect, hard to tell. The slide that keeps the DX in place was stiff, not at all a snap into place. I had to pull it back and push it closed. Seriously doubt it will come loose. It never has on my Kindle II, that's why I know it won't come loose. So this is the big brother to the 6" cover and I prefer it to the synthetic materials. Just sort of makes the e-reading experience more like holding a fine leather bound edition hardcover book. Silly, I know but I like it.

This is a great cover. Stylish, easy to use and has a book feel to it.
I did have to return the first one that arrived because it was warped...Amazon replaced it with minimal hassle.
I would like a little more protection, but it is had to have the best of all worlds (ease of use and maximum protection).
