I purchased this for what it is; a two-piece skin (front and back pieces) to protect my Kindle from fingerprints and random scratches in my bag. I have two leather covers for transporting my Kindle when it needs more protection but this skin works great when I'm reading. It's very colorful and humorous, which is a plus. It doesn't cover any of the keys, speakers, or sides. It just protects the Kindle during use. It was easy to apply and looks like it will be easy to remove when I'm ready for that. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't have a down side.

THE ITEM WAS NOT QUITE WHAT I EXPECTED FOR THE COST, MAYBE I MISUNDERSTOOD BUT FOR THE PRICE OF BASICALLY A LARGE STICKER FOR MY KINDLE WAS A BIT MUCH SHOUKD HAVE INVESTED IN A ACTUAL COVER, BUT I WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP A AMAZON. HEY EVERYONE MAKES A MISTAKE LOL

I bought this skin b/c I read the reviews. however, the product i received was poorly manufactured and nearly pulled the keys off of my kindle 2 when i tried to pull it off. it was so poorly constructed it tore upon application. i complained to customer service and they were patronizing and demeaning. BEWARE when you puchase this.

I was nervous about putting it on....but it went on fairly easily, fits well and is really beautiful!
