Maybe its my mistake but I thought it would cover all my kindle's surface. And also thought that its is removable so I would be able to choose to use it whenever I like. Considering my expectations price seems to be really high for a kind of sticker. I'm sorry guys for my adverse comments. But I should make a confession, it is the best quality sticker I've ever seen :)

Bought this gel-skin when I purchased my Kindle 2, I thought it had the front and back but was disappointing then it arrived that it was just the back, for the price its not worth it,

The Gelskin lives up to its purpose however, Amazon.com doesn't live up to its reputation on many of the kindle products sold. This particular product is one sided and only covers the rear of the kindle. Inasmuch as I had already purchased the kindle amazon leather cover I thought the product would cover front and back. It does not. The most important part of the kindle is left unprotected. I didn't need the back covered - and would not have purchased this product had the description include information on "back of kindle covered only"

Yes, I wanted to protect the backside of my Kindle. I discovered this product while looking at Kindle accessories, read the owners reviews, and decided this is what I needed.
My intentions were not only to protect the shiny surface of my Kindle but to also provide for a less slippery hold when reading or carrying it.
After I applied the GelaSkin I discovered that it wasn't tacky at all. It did little to enhance my grip on my Kindle.
Protection against scratching? Yes. Beauty? Not really. Utilitarian? I don't think so.
So, I guess my expectations were a little too high, but for this price I thought that perhaps I would get a little more than just some sort of cosmetic effect. And somehow it just doesn't seem to fit the look of Kindle.
Oh well, "say lah vie!"

My "GelaSkins" arrived quickly and was easy to apply. Keeps Kindle from slipping when out of the case. However, I rarely take it out of the case when flying, but when I'm home it keeps it safe.GelaSkins Protective Skin for Kindle DX (Almond Branches in Bloom)
