Love it! Great screen...read one book already. No strain on the eyes...still learning all the stuff u can do with it.

Although I do miss the printed page as much as I thought I would, I do not miss the weight nor the space of the bound book while traveling. A definite good buy.

I absolutely love it!! Can't wait to take it on my upcoming trip instead of 10 books! Love being able to choose a bigger font to read and the printing is so clear. Even better than I had hoped. Easier than a book to read-either a hard back or paper back. I am so happy with it!

I have had several other ebook reading devices, a Sony PRS 505, Sony PRS 300 and the Aluratek, but I do find this one the best reader of all. The font and screen are page and ink quality. And the fact that up can increase or reduce the font depending on your mood and comfort level is real nice
I have only so far used the built in basic browser to search for something on Amazon.com website. It seems to work ok, not something to go surfing the internet with though.
I gave the built in text to speech a test run, and it works fairly well, though I think that it would be nice to include the option for synthesized female or male voices, instead of just a male voice.
My only complaint is the lack of paging buttons on the left side of the device. While it is true the device can be rotated, I think many will prefer to read with the keyboard on the bottom, in-case they want to access the dictionary or other functions that are located there.
I have found that even though I am right handed, I actually prefer to hold the reader in my left hand when reading, and the lack of paging buttons on the left side is annoying. I am adapting, given all the other great features this device has, I think it was well worth the purchase price. I have also ordered the Kindle WiFi Latest Generation reader for when I am away from home.
The Kindle DX is not exactly a 'Go Everywhere' size device. But the Kindle WiFi should fit nicely in my jacket pocket.

Es una maravilla. Es muy bonito. Es rápido.Se ven muy bien casi todos los PDF que le pongo (artículos científicos, libros en PDF sin DRM)y, por supuesto, los formatos movi-azw.
Me gustaría que los pdf de dos columnas fueran reconocidos como tales y el zoom pudiera mostrar las columnas individualmente (ahora a veces no se pueden leer si el original es pequeño y el zoom no visualiz bien cada columna)- imagino que esto se podría lograr si se pudieran escoger más porcentages de zoom.
Tengo esperanzas en que pueda leer Epub y PDF con DRM, así como que pueda subrayarse y anotarse el PDF;que los menús vengan en español (que se puedan poner tildes y la letra ñ; que tenga text to speech en español; que se le pueda poner un diccionario de español como predeterminado);que se pueda navegar en modo de lectura de artículo, como parece que tienen los nuevos Kindle; y que sea más rápida la navegación usando el joystick como ratón.
