I have the K2 (US version) and I love it. I am an avid reader and take it everywhere with me because you never know when you can read a chapter. I thought it was going to be amazing before I bought it, but was even more amazed after. The amount of Free, cheap, and even the price of the bestsellers is wonderful. I have discovered so many new great Authors and found so many new genre's of books it is unbelievable. Indie Authors, who knew, and the amount of savings I have had and 3 times the books. The wireless download is great and I love that I can read without my reading glasses by upping the font. If you are or know a reader, then this is the best device out there. I received mine as a gift, but would not hesitate to buy another for my Hubby. Amazon has nailed it and I plan on being a customer for a long time.

I received my Kindle a few weeks ago and have finished almost 5 books already !
Reading books are effortless and an absolute pleasure..
There are some things that could be better but nothing that detracts from the pleasure of using the device.
Only thing that Amazon need to look at is pricing of kindle books I have seen books change prices daily and even different prices from different links.... i dont wanna feel like i am being ripped off.
but overall well done a brilliant device this will do for reading what Ipod did for music !

I have been watching the Kindle since it came to the market. The original Kindle had a lot of recommendations and Kindle 2 came out. There is yet more complaints to the Kindle 2. I guess I will wait for the Kindle 3 and hope all the recommendations of complaints, and hopefully the price will come down, because I cannot afford a Kindle plus all the accessories (i.e. the 2 year warranty, which I believe should come with the Kindle without a price of $65). It is like purchasing a computer. You buy a laptop and within 12 to 18 months, you find a new model that has come out and makes your computer look like a prototype. I invested in a Dell Inspirion and now wish I waited the extra 1-1/2 to 2 years to purchase the laptop my daughter now has that is light weight and include Windows 7.
I will not purchase a used Kindle since it does not include any warranty. If I am purchasing an electronic device, I found out the hard way not to buy the first generation of desk top computer, lap top computers, or MP3's. I will add Kindle to this list.

I'm sure thereare a host of pernickety niggles that could be levelled at the Kindle, but all round it does what it says on the tin brilliantly! I read dozens of books as well as travelling frequently; my Kindle makes the former a pleasyure and the latter tolerable!
Don't listen to anything negative !!!! Buy one and enjoy it :-)

I find Kindle very handy and intelligent. And most of my friends were amazed with it. However, I like to see more books, especially business and latest fictions, available in Kindle store.
