It's all been said before but the Kindle is exactly what it advertises to be. I put a few pics up to show how the screen reacts to sunlight compared to the Kindle iPhone app. Overall a sound purchase for someone who wants to READ. Not good for all the masses who have ADD and can't sit still for more than 10 minutes. Very portable and very extensive selection. Buy it

I have had my kindle for approx 3 months and am completely satisfied with it except that it does not have a built-in light for night reading. I read my kindle while watching TV (during commercials) when the room lights are low. I would be in hog heaven if I didn't have to use a separate light to read my kindle during this time. Is there a reason why it doesn't have one - similar to cell phones???

This Kindle is so easy to use, you just turn it on and start reading right where you left off! I love the non-glare screen and lightweight feel of the unit. I can read more books on my Kindle than I could hard copy. This purchase was well worth the price I paid. This is the wave of future reading!

We've fallen in love with the Kindle. It has an easy-to-read, non-glare screen. One-hand manipulation. No more fumbling with pages. Light and easy to carry on trips or in a purse for unexpected waits. Built in dictionary for those words you THOUGHT you knew. Extremely intuitive. Another score by Amazon!

I am really enjoying my Kindle. I had a little problem with my 1st one. The headphone outlet for the text to speech feature would only work for the left headphone. I called customer help and they sent me a new one. So I am happy again.
