 It just can't replace a book February 6, 2010

For as much as i was excited about this nice little gadget, the excitement wore off about a week after i had it. I got it in november and i haven't used it in a while. It's great but it just does not replace a book.
I tried reading the Bible on it and it's definitely not ideal because the Bible is usually not read as a normal book but skipping back and forth through different books and chapters. i can't just go to the verse i want to, and the highlighting and notes features are great but i find it easier to find a verse through the real highlighting on a real book, especially when you have many highlights. And it's just not convenient if you read a book and want to read again a specific part, i can remember easily where it was in a real book but on a kindle it's hard to identify. But i like the kindle because it definitely saves a lot of trees which is always a great thing. So I'd recommend it to read stories on it but not a study book

There is no need to praising this product. One word...Amazing! I love my Kindle, he best, the best gift ever from my husband. Nothing compares to Kindle. Thank you.

I love love love it. I was introduced to Kindle by my older sister. She purchased one for her daughter, because of the amount of reading she has for school. Knowing that I love to read she told me about the convenience of the Kindle and the ease of downloading new reading material. I purchased my Kindle two weeks before Christmas and have not put it down yet. It is wonderful. The Kindle has allowed me to purchase the books i want to read without taking up additional space in my home. I am donating the majority of my paperback and hardcover books to our local library. Thank you Kindle.. Your newest fan.

The Kindle I bought for my wife is great, mainly because it's so easy to use. The number of books we can get is astounding and they are relatively cheap. I would recommend it to anyone who is an avid reader.

The Kindle was my only (material) Christmas wish. I am enjoying it immensely, have had no problems with it. I considered other readers but decided to go with the tried and true. It works for me.
