Slim and lightweight by design, this custom fitted sleeve is so flat and bulk free that it stacks well with other books or papers.

The slip case is a great cover for traveling. It is lightweight and provides good protection. I've used it while traveling in luxury as well as backpacking.

This cover provides good protection and is easy to use. Just slip the Kindle 2 in or out either way for a snug fit. This cover is very sophisticated looking and classy. However one warning - you must be careful not to drop the Kindle when it is outside the case. The Kindle is fragile and will not survive a drop onto a wood or tile floor. I like to use my Kindle "naked" so I return it immediately to the case even when going for a coffee refill.

I am SO glad I chose this slip cover. I am happy to know that my Kindle is safe and protected from scratches for such a reasonable price. I read in bed and I read while "on the go", so I didn't want to have to deal with a cover that was attached to the Kindle. This was the perfect choice. It is so very slim, it still easily fits in my purse, and I don't carry a large bag.
I have a decalgal skin on my Kindle, and it still fits perfectly in the sleeve. All you have to do is press on either side of the sleeve (thumb on one side, fingers on the other), and the Kindle is easily extracted. You can tuck the Kindle in "head-first" or "feet-first", it doesn't matter... and you can tuck it in so that the charging port is at the opening, so you can charge it while it's in the sleeve. (Which I prefer anyway, as there's no danger of turning it on accidentally.)
I know other reviews complain about the smell, but really, it's not real leather, so you should expect it to have a bit of an odor, and it dissipated after a week and a half.
Overall, I would highly recommend this item to any Kindle owner!

I initially purchased the leather M-edge case which works great but it proved to be a bit cumbersome and bulky. The Octovo sleeve is perfect in providing just enough protection for the kindle but in a low profile, sleek package. This is a winner.
