I was very happy with this cover. A part of it is a high quality fake leather which, apart from the non-existent animal odours, is indistinguishable from regular leather. For those who don't know, neoprene is basically wetsuit material which is protective and spongy, yet sleek and stylish. This cover is also great for keeping the kindle low key in unsafe environs as most people will think you're carrying papers or a book.

I should have waited until I received my Kindle before I ordered a case. Since the KIndle does not have a back light, I will eventually buy the case that holds a back light and also has a stand to hold the Kindle up on a counter. If you need a case just for storage purposes, this case is fine.

I don't feel that neoprene cover has the "strength" to protect the Kindle. I was hoping it had some stiffness. And the "one side" zipper (vs a 3 sided zipper) makes it awkward to insert and remove the Kindle.
It looks nice but I would not recommend it.
I will keep it.
