 Still a little puzzled over this item March 2, 2010

For the life of me I do not understand why this is described as an essential kit for the Kindle. It did not come with a car charger...at least mines didn't, so it is pretty much just an extra wall charger. I would not purchase again and feel a bit cheated on this one.

I found that the original cord bent and didn't make contact as well as it should. But with the new cord and car charger, I really am totally satified.
I would make the cord to charge a little longer.

I bought the Kindle for my wife as a gift and she loves it. I find it in her hands more often than I ever saw her with a hardback book. It is easy to use and simply wonderful to load new materials when a book has been read. Highly recommended
