The back piece is super easy to apply, the front section is a tad bit tricky. I found that cutting it where the keyboard is so you can do that part separately is much easier than trying to put the whole piece on as one. Now they've got even more selections, so I'm planning on getting another one soon.

When it said gel I was thinking in terms of protection. I would have maybe picked a different
pattern if I would have been thinking. It just dresses up your kindle really. Does not protect it from screen scratches or drops. And that was what I was looking for.

Works as expected for a skin, but does not quite cover the Kindle perfectly, so a little bit of white still shows through on the front. Would look nicer if it had been cut to fit a little better. Some of the other skins also cover around the keyboard buttons where this one took the lazy way out and just cut a big square around the section. Fits the back quite well and should protect from scratches.

when I bought my Kindle, I thought it would be a good idea to get a gel skin to protect it. I am not kind to my electronics. My husband said that it was difficult to get the gel skin onto the Kindle just right, but once it is on, it looks great and is nearly seamless.
